The Republican Jewish Coalition 2012 Presidential Candidates Forum was held on Tuesday in Washington, DC. On tonight's Daily Show, Jon Stewart described the forum as a holiday celebrating "the miracle of incredibly Christian presidential candidates fighting over who loves Jews more" before ranking each one based on how much—and how shamelessly—they managed to suck up to Israel.

Huntsman goes for broke....literally!

Former Utah governor Jon Huntsman's presidential campaign is nearly broke - but the campaign is vowing that it will have the resources to continue until the primaries. The campaign said Friday it has just $327,000 on hand and $890,000 in debt. It listed its total receipts - including a $2.25 million donation from Huntsman himself - at $4.51 million, and its total dispersments at $4.18 million. Over in Rolling Stone, Jon Stewart, "the Walter Cronkite of this generation," frets that the president hasn't done more to circumvent the Constitution's separation of powers: I’m surprised at how much he deferred to the legislative process. He’s accomplished some things, and I’m sure he’s pleased with what he’s done, but I would have preferred to see something a little bit more transformative.
